Let me introduce you to another segment of my life. A personal project that I have named: ELECTRIC AFTER DARK.

My name is Mounir Ghazi. I live in Paris, France. Maybe you follow my instagram page, maybe you’ve been following the journey of building my clothing line, or maybe we met somewhere some time ago.

People know me as a fashion designer. It has always been a way to express myself without saying anything, but it’s really just one side of who I am.

Born a shy boy, I’ve created my own inner world and I have made it evolve through the years. Reality has always been an unwelcolming place to me, where I have had to find my way. Using clothes has been my tool of choice to make my fantasy world come true. I have lived more in my own head than in the real world. This is where I hide and where I find comfort. Today, still, with a lot of apprehension, I am ready to share it and to welcome you in my very private and intimate world. I’m opening a door, you are free to push it or not.  

Maybe I’m becoming driven to leave a testimony of my time on earth. Maybe I want to exist in the world whilst having a different narrative, like many other invisibles. Maybe it’s just another way to push myself closer to the cliff…

This website is my very personal platform, a diary of some sort, where you will discover a rebellious mind, tormented sometimes, always looking for freedom. You will enter into a narrative of dramatic reality, fantastic stories, spiritual introspections, questioning the known and the unknown … and all parts exposing the quest towards peace and purpose. 

Music, films, and books have been some loyal friends, you will most likely find some familiar references in my writing. 

There is no goal or strategic plan I have with this blog, so I will keep things spontaneous and straightforward. Just as my brand, I create when I feel drawn to create, and when the inspiration strikes. The electric hour always comes after midnight. This is when my brain connect to an outer world and comes back with new ideas and stories. Night time is my playground, I’m awake and full of energy, inspired and always feeling in between, on the edge… Passively active or actively passive. I’m an observant of the life I’m fully experiencing.
